We supply Duroc pork from Waratah Farms in Otorohanga and Freedom Farms pork from the South Island.
The Duroc breed produces pork that is bright reddish pink in color, containing a higher percentage of intramuscular fat (marbling) and a higher pH. This is the taste, tenderness and succulence that has made Waratah Duroc famous - you could call it the ‘Hereford Prime’ of pork.
