Garth Bosock has been a butcher all his adult life. He started his first butchery job at the ripe old age of 16, and hasn't looked back since!

Coming from a farming background, getting into homekills and butchery was a natural step for Garth who has also enjoyed his transition into business owner and employer and everything in between.

Garth is also something of an international traveller where he's had the opportunity to cultivate his gastronomic interest even more through all range of dining experiences throughout Europe, Asia, England and Australia - appreciating side walk diners to 5 star restaurants from many different cultures.

As one of Tauranga’s most go-ahead butcheries, we are proud of our good, old-fashioned, personal service. We call ourselves Naked Meats because everything we butcher and produce here is:

We don't add any preservatives, additives or flavours to our fresh cut meat, honouring the quality and flavour of our fresh, natural produce ensuring you have the best possible meat for your meals too.
